TMRA KICKOFF DINNER & DANCE
AT HISTORIC LOOP RANCH JUNE 4TH

$25.00 per Person

$50.00 per Couple

$15.00 per Child Under 16

In light of concerns regarding the recent EHV-1 outbreak, The Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Association has decided to postpone its Poker Ride fundraiser, which was scheduled for June 4th, 2011, at the historic Loop Ranch.

Based upon the fact that there have been no new infections in California since the original outbreak and that only two cases have been confirmed in Kern County, the TMRA believes there is no current risk to the horses in our area. However, based upon the Association’s commitment to animal welfare and the concerns of many Tehachapi area horse owners, the decision was made to postpone the ride. The TMRA will announce a new date for the Poker Ride at the Loop Ranch in the near future.

Since the Poker Ride can’t serve as our traditional “kick off” for the rodeo season, the TMRA will be holding a steak barbeque and dance at the Loop Ranch on Saturday, June 4th, at 5:30 PM. Even if your horses can’t come out to play, you certainly can! Dinner tickets may be purchased through any TMRA committee member or by calling the TMRA at (661) 557-7336 or by the Contact Us  page of this website.
